Founded in 1914, originally as Phrenecon at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, the Delta chapter of Phi Kappa Tau believes in the importance of universal acceptance, diversity of thought, and the construction of brotherly bonds that can hardly be found elsewhere.
Here at Delta we host an expansive alumni base, having brothers who have gone on to work at Google, graduate with a law degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, teach English abroad through the Fulbright Fellowship program, and more. We believe in the power of learning and expect our members to put forth their best efforts in the classroom and out.
One of our favorite events every year is our annual Spring philanthropy we call St. Baldrick's. Every year around the time of St. Patricks day we have brothers who go around and get others to pledge money for them shaving their heads. In years past we have raised thousands of dollars to be donated to the SeriousFun Children's Network.
